Geocache Description:

Római fürdo (Roman bath)
I hid this traditional little cache along the Gaja stream in the heart of Bakony Mountain. What makes the place unique is a natural waterfall. This is the most beautyful spot in the east of Bakony.
The stream flows over the edge of steep cliffs depending huge cauldron-shape holes. Not far from the waterfall there is a 12 metre-long limestone cave called Savanyú Jóska cave.
At the time the cache was hidden the stream around the waterfall was totally frozen over. Such a waterfall is a really spectacular sight, even its motionlessness is fascinating. However, life doesn't stop under the ice surface, everything goes on and stays in motion. The sound effects are simply indescribable. The area is not quiet in summer either, as you can hear the loud babble of the brook. The waterfall is popular among the locals, but many people coming from distant places as wel have picnics nearby.
Those who come by car and don't want to do this cache as a drive-in point should approach it from the direction of Bakonynána. (Besides it is better to follow the marked route because the area is really beautyful and the trip is not exhausting.) Cars can be left around the point of N47 16,302' E017 58,420'. From this location trail markings show the way to the waterfall. The marked route leads into the gore where you can find some nice rock formations. The trail is easy to walk on but it's a bit slippery in winter.
I placed the cache in a rock hole and there's a mossy stone covering it. (Of course there are hundreds of mossy stones everywhere, so I give you some clues. The stone in question is on the right side of the stream, at the reach where you can easily step across the stream. If you look in the direction of which the stream flows, you will sea a blue omega sign on a tree trunk about 7-10 meters away. The sign shows the way to the cave. I put the cache quite deep into the hole and thoroughly covered it with dry fallen leaves.)
Some more instructions to the finder:
1) There is a marked route to the cave, but please be careful as it goes along a 10-15 metre-steep rock face and it is rather slippery even in summer, let alone in winter when it can be really dangerous. Watch out especially for the children.
2) The area is busy. Please pay attention when you log in and you put the cache back.
3) If you approach the place using the forest-path between Tés and Bakonynána, you will miss a lot of sights because that way the place is actually a drive-in point.
The cache itsef is a small plastic square box with blue lid and size of about 11x11x12 cm. In the box there is no room for a big exchange gift, a normal size CD just doesn't fit in it. (But I managed to squeeze in a small 8 cm one)
The difficulty level is 4, but that is just because of the comings and goings. If the area is not visited by many people, it is not more difficult than 2.5.
I'd like to ask everybody to hide the cache carefully.
Please disguise at properly.
