After reading the "ramblings" on another cache
page, I realized that I can pretty much say anything I want in a
cache description. For example, here are a few entries from my
journal:
July 6, 2005
Bad news - The paperboy forgot us today. I'm
really getting tired of this. Maybe I should cancel my
subscription. I get all my news off the Internet, anyway.
Good news - My brother and his family are
coming out to visit for my birthday next week! Woo Hoo!

Ripped holes in my brand new socks. They're
really nice ones, too. They have two layers of synthetic, so they
prevent blisters. I knew I shouldn't have worn them into Puzzle
Valley!
July 11, 2005
Little Rusty (my nephew) learned to tie his
shoes today! My aunt was the one who taught me to tie my shoes.
This is the same aunt who, when I was little, took me to the top of
a steep hill on my tricycle, gave me a push, and right before I
reached the bottom yelled, "Now turn!" I'd go flying like I was
shot from a cannon. Then she'd run down the hill, wipe my tears,
and tell me I was going to be OK. When I stopped crying, she'd ask,
"Wanna do it again?" I always said yes, which probably explains a
lot.

Nothing at all happened at work today! And
when I say 'nothing', I mean 'ZERO'! No cases came in, no court
testimony, nothing!
August 14, 2005
In church today, Sister Mary Katherine crept up behind this kid who
was goofing off. I thought she was going to whack him with a ruler,
but she just whispered something to him and he settled down.
September 8, 2005
I tore my socks again! At least it was the
pair that I mended from the last "Ripping Yarn." Ha Ha! Did this
one going through a barbed wire fence. I guess shortcuts through
private property are a bad idea. ;-)

The airline lost my luggage! I went to
Mississippi to help with an audit of their state crime lab.
Apparently my luggage decided to go somewhere less humid. I had to
buy new clothes, new toothbrush, everything except what I had in my
laptop bag. Man, I'm glad I carried the laptop with me.
October 17, 2005
Now Rusty's little brother Sean has learned to
tie his shoes. It seems he learned by untying his shoes after Rusty
tied them together. That Rusty's a card. Wonder who he got that
from. ;-)

Still no suitcase. I called the airline, and
they say they're still looking. I hope my clothes are having fun,
wherever they are.
December 18, 2005
I thought this afternoon would never end! We
had our lab meeting, then the rest of the afternoon was 'Hazardous
Materials Training." We don't even USE hazardous materials in our
unit, but it's an OSHA requirement that all lab personnel have to
have the training. Ugh!

Placed a cache today. I was driving home from
the San Bernardino Courthouse when a song came on that made me
think, "That might make a good puzzle!" The container is a
Lock&Lock and contains a themed FTF prize and a few other
items. It's about 20 feet north of the path, but it's easy to get
to.
