Geocache Description:

We are doing a self-titled cache for our first hide, in honor of Mike’s favorite holiday movie. The coordinates do NOT bring you to the cache location, but recommended parking is in view of the item at these coordinates. You will also need to know what the item is to solve the puzzle. You are looking for an ammo can a short distance off of a trail, stocked primarily with small stuffed animals for children. On to the puzzle:

When you’re asked to find the “numeric value” of a certain letter in a word, use A=1, B=2, C=3, etc.

1. What is the 3rd number in the year the movie was made?
2. How many words are in the name of the novel the movie is based on?

3. What’s the numeric value of the first letter in the name of the restaurant they have Christmas dinner in?

We think the FTF prize is a good one, although we don’t have much to compare it to given the fact that it’s IMPOSSIBLE to get a FTF in this area unless several teams are all on vacation!
