Here is another cache along New York’s Long Path. The nearest year round parking is at N 41 12.478 W 074 02.739. Walk around the green fencing and follow the gravel trail which intersects the Long Path at Cheesecoate Pond. The normal access road to the park is closed in the winter. This is primarily a coin trading cache, but other trades are welcome. Please take a coin only if you leave another. There are a few coins here that are trackable on the geocaching web site. Feel free to copy the coin number if you want to add a new icon to your profile, but don’t take it unless you leave another coin. Of course it’s OK to just sign the log. The original coins are: Maine, Texas, California, Mount McKinley (trackable), New Jersey (trackable) and Team 9key, SirGerald, and Joelmart personal coins. They are hidden in a decon container. Please rehide it as you found it.
