Geocache Description:

The cache is located on a hill overlooking the village of Greyton

This is a straightforward cache on one of the numerous hiking trails in the area. You can park at S34 02.488 and E019 37.244 or in the village and walk to that point, which is the start of the Boesmanskloof trail. From the parking place follow the track across the river and turn right at S34 02.270 and E019 37.362. Continue along the path, climbing up to a bench where you can look at the views and discover the origin of the name of the cache. The cache is hidden in a pile of rocks about seven meters in front of and to the left of the bench. The cache is a Tupperware box wrapped in a plastic bag.

For the energetic, the Abdol’s Kop Cache is about another hour and a half of strenuous hiking up to the peak so you can kill two caches with one hike!

The cache contains the usual assorted goodies, a notebook, pen, a Geocache Read Me document and a soldier to guard the cache
