Geocache Description:

Geocachers of West Tennessee

CALLING ALL NEWBIES!!! IF SANTA BROUGHT YOU A GPSr FOR CHRISTMAS AND YOU HAVE LESS THAN 20 FINDS (+/- a few), THIS ONE IS JUST FOR YOU!!!

It seems that right around Christmas every year a new crop of cachers comes about, having just received a GPSr. If that is you, welcome to this RASHO (Recreation/Activity/Sport/Hobby/Obsession) we call geocaching! This cache is special made for you.

***FOR THE FIRST SIXTY DAYS OF THIS CACHE'S LIFE (until 1 March 2006) ONLY CACHER'S WHO HAVE LOGGED 20 FINDS OF LESS (+/- a few) WILL BE ALLOWED TO LOG FINDS ON THIS CACHE.*** After that period the cache is open to all to find. Come experience what a "first-to-find" feels like!

You are looking for an ammo can hidden in the wilds of Shelby Farms in East Memphis. No real surprises here, but some terrian change and lots of thorns! Mosquitoes in season. Best parking is at the back of the Visitor's Center. Inside the cache you will find a collection of supplies and goodies we have found useful or novel as you begin what we hope will be a long, fun geocaching career! The swag for this cache was contributed by several members of Geocachers of West Tennessee (www.GOWT.org).

Welcome to geocaching. See you on the trails!
