Cache Effect: Groundspeak has been contacted concerning cache placements near Fire Lookout Towers in the Southern Rockies Area.
We have been informed that a new security policy is in place that prohibits the publishing of tower locations.
We have been advised that for future caches, we are to deny requests within 1 kilometer of provided co-ordinates, or that mention Lookout towers.
We have been asked to remove any caches that are currently 100m within provided co-ordinates, or that mention the towers by name.
We must regretfully archive these caches as per the land managers request.
