Geocache Description:

You are looking for a small cammoed tin locatated approximately 50 feet from a hard packed trail in River Legacy Park (West).

Maine, Florida, Hawaii or Alaska: Which of these states is the most eastern state? Which of these states is the most western state? If you picked Maine, Florida or Hawaii, you picked wrong. Alaska is not only the westernmost state, but also the easternmost state. Some of Alaska’s Aleutian Islands (the Rat Islands and the Near Islands) lie west of the 180th meridian, the dividing line between the Eastern Hemisphere and the Western Hemisphere, placing them securely in the Eastern Hemisphere.

Does the above have anything to do with this cache: you might ask. No, just something to think about during the ¾ mile trek from the parking lot to the cache. While you’re thinking about this, do you think there’s an island where you can stand with one foot in today and the other in yesterday or tomorrow?
