Christmas Cookie Traditional Cache

Welcome to the Christmas Cookie Cache. Don’t be fooled, there are no Christmas Cookies in this cache… that might get a bit nasty. This cache is located in a lake side recreation area in Arizona. The container is a repurposed Christmas Cookie gift tin. If you are driving to the cache (with 4x4), do so during daylight hours as access may be restricted otherwise. The elevation of the cache is 1616ft.
The terrain leading to the cache can be quite difficult. You can get to it by boat if you don't mind an easy hike after you park the boat. Or you can get to it by vehicle, but it must have 4 wheel drive and good ground clearance (this is how the cache was placed). ATV's and dirtbikes will also most likely have success in reaching the cache. The cache was originally populated with a plethora of toys, log, and a pencil.

Also, if you are driving you should not have to worry about purchasing a permit as you will not be parking in the day use areas.
