If you crave a daunting hike with dazzling views, then this is the cache you've been waiting for. With over 700' feet of elevation gain to an altitude of 1604', the trek to this find is Well Worth the View.
This is an Offset cache, which lists as a multi. You must visit the posted coords before you can find the cache.
Your excursion, if you dare accept the challenge, begins at the Pentachaeta Trailhead where Lindero Canyon Road dead ends at Triunfo Canyon Road. From there, take Pentachaeta until you reach the side trail, which begins at the "Start" waypoint.
Head up the mountain past (GCRRVK) It Burns! until you come to the posted coords.
Arriving at this awesome viewpoint, you must observe a pointy peak at heading 142° approximately .21 miles away. The cache is at the peak of this summit, NOT at the top of a rock outcrop you will have to pass. As you reach the summit, there's an 8'-10' rock face you'll have to scale.
The cache is an ammo can. You can ignore the blue graffiti, and as usual, there is no need to bushwack.
