Large Ammo Can hidden on nature trail off Byram bike path. Bring boots if it's snowed or rained recently.
People who have visited or considered visiting Mizar Starship Trooper asked for more in the area to justify the hike so here is 1 of 2 for a near term total of 3 that form the loop between the bike path entrance and the nature trail exit. Parking can be found at numerous places however the easiest start point is N 40 56.124 W 074 42.199. Enter at either the bike trail by the parking area or a few hundred feet to the left at the nature trail entrance before the bridge. I've included a track log to help with the loop and there are orange ribbons at the turns and beyond to guide you. This one is about .5 miles out from the parking area. Other than the bike path, the trail system here is rarely used by humans but there are lots of critters in the woods.
The cache contains lots of goodies so pull on your waterproof boots and give it a try. Thanks to Olias of Sunhillow for the Ammo Cans.
