Geocache Description:

Just off the perimeter trail of the Doris Leeper Preserve. Very minor bushwacking. If you could have seen this area after the hurricanes of 2004 it was all like this including Martin's Dairy Road. It was several weeks until you could get to the parking lot. Really not sure when Volusia County finally got the trails opened, but they did a great job. Seems appropriate that part of our series should recognize that event.

When this cache was placed the tree next to the cache was broken off but about 6 feet in the air, held up by scrub. Gravity and decay have taken over and now it's on the ground and rotting away. Time marches on.

The cache is a pint sized camoed jar with very little room. Better bring a pen because the custom made pen will probably get lost. Revised the hint 3/25/08

DON'T FORGET THE CLUE FOR THE GEORATIONS I SUPERCACHE.
