De tocht begint op de markt van maastricht. Dit is ongeveer 1.5 kilometer van het station af.
De tocht is ongeveer 6 kilometer en voert je om het centrum heen. Sommige stukken zijn wat afgelegen en ik raad u aan om deze route met meerdere personen te lopen. Tevens is er een stuk voor de active/onderzoekende mensen, maar er zal dan ook een makkelijker traject zijn voor de “doe maar normaal, dan doe je al gek genoeg” mensen.
Maastricht is een mooie stad om in te winkelen daarnaast heeft het veel historie. De meeste kennen wel de servaas brug of het onze lieve vrouwen plein. Maar weinig mensen kennen de lage- en hoge fronten of de mooie watermolens. Daar gaat deze wandeling wat aan doen. Je komt langs de mooiste en verassende plekjes van maastricht en na de tocht kun je de gebruikelijke trekpleisters van maastricht ook nog even aandoen (of shoppen).
NOTE: De route loopt door wat afgelegen stukken van maastricht en er zijn wel eens zwervers of junks in de buurt. Loop dus niet alleen
Vergeet geen foto's te maken. Maastricht is te mooi om niet te delen met anderen.
The cache starts on the marketplace of Maastricht. This is about 1.5 kilometers away from the central train station.
The track is about 6 kilometers and takes you arround the shopping centre of maastricht. Some parts of the trip are remote and I'll advice you to to walk with multiple geocachers. There is a part for the adventures cachers, but there is also a easy detour for the normal cachers. Maastricht is a beautiful city to shop in and has a lot of history. Most people know 'het vrijthof' or the 'servaasbrug', but only few know the low and high frontlines or the old watermills. This trip is set to change this. You'll see the most beautiful places of maastricht and after the trip you'll end up in the city centre to visit the regular tourist atractions.

Op deze plek heb je twee keuzes.
De eerste is langs het water te lopen (is het mooist), maar is tevens lastig om van de brug naar het water te komen (een mooie sprong van 1,5 meter). Blijf aan dezelfde kant lopen, dus het water aan je rechter kant.
De tweede keuze is om via de oude spoorlijn (richting de stad)naar waypoint 7 te lopen.
Add this waypoint there are two choises. The first is to continue allong site the water (is the most beautiful), but you will have to make a jump of 1.5 meter. Keep the water of your right side.
The second option is to follow the old train tract to the city to waypoint 7.

De Cache wordt aangegeven op een omheiningspaal met de tekst 'Chiel&co' (op 1,3 m hoogte). De Cache ligt 20 cm rechts van de paal in de grond. De plek is weer erg open, dus indien je niet zeker bent op je hem ongezien kunt openen. Mail dan het woord op 50 cm hoogte op de paal. Dit is je codewoord.

The cache is marked by a wooden fensepool, with the words 'Chiel & Co' on it at 1,3 m height. The site is very open and if in doubt about other people seeing it. Just mail the word at 50 cm on the pool. This is your code.
