In 1954, the person for whom this park was named recieved the first ever MVP award for the Sun Bowl.
This is a large park with about everything except a pool. Kiddie playground, Basketball court, walking path, and a skate park. There are many covered picnic tables and some bathroom facilities. Short people or kids may have a hard time reaching this cache.
