Welcome to the Baton Rouge Travel Bug Plaza Hotel. Est. December 31, 2005

This Cache has been established for the purpose of housing Travel Bugs as they travel to their destination(s). We hope that your Travel Bug enjoys its stay in our nice water proof Ammo Can Plaza Hotel. The Travel Bug Plaza Hotel owners have selected a location that will provide a nice view of Baton Rouge while here. There are many sites of interest that can be enjoyed for the Geocacher while in route to and from this location.

All Guest at the Baton Rouge Travel Bug Plaza Hotel Must Be Travel Bugs. All other guest should seek accommodations in other caches. No trade SWAG

If you would like to visit the Travel Bug Plaza Hotel to sign the logbook, that's ok. We invite all to visit.

A Travel Bug cannot checkout unless another Travel Bug checks in. In other words, Don't take a Travel Bug unless you plan to leave one. If you take 1 leave 1, if you take 2 leave 2 and so on.

The rules may sound too demanding but it will ensure that all Travel Bug Guests are helped to their destination(s). Often times Travel Bugs will sit in caches or stay in an area too long, this keeps them from accomplishing their goal. We are here to help, not hinder. If you are not willing to follow the rules for this cache then we ask that you not visit.
If a Travel Bug owner has a Travel Bug in the Plaza Hotel and would like to have the TB checked out for maintenance or special treatment, please feel free to contact the manager via email for room service.

Please make sure that all Travel Bugs are secured in a Ziploc bag with their destination or goal sheet.

There is plenty of parking and the cache is within 15 feet of the parking lot.
