Geocache Description:

A simple multi-cache that explores the history of a leisurely seaside town.

In 19AB, there were C kilns operating at the base of the cliffs. A photograph depicting their construction was taken in 19DE. In 19FG three more kilns and a blacksmith shop were constructed at the top of the cliffs. An article in the 'Yorketown Pioneer' appeared on 28th May, 19HI reporting a visit to the kilns by the Director of the Millers Lime Co.
