None of the caches are hidden at the pub. They are a short walk away. The co-ords given are for the pub car park. You will have to work out the co-ordinates from a clue when you reach the pub and also a pub quiz question given at the bottom of this page before you do this cache. There is no need to enter the pub as all clues are outside, so this series is suitable for families with children. You will also find in each cache a number to work out the final cache. . Except for the final cache, you can do them in any order.

Wirral has so many lovely pubs from quiet relaxing pubs, child friendly pubs and also pubs with great entertainment. Best of all we have lots of “Real Ale” pubs. This series, we hope will hi-light some of our fantastic pubs. There is a FTF in every cache and a Trophy in the final cache. Please don’t take the trophy unless you have done all the pubs and signed the logbooks.

The Dee View is a wedge shaped Pub set into a hairpin bend. It’s a traditional and comfy pub. It’s more of a beer drinker’s pub serving cask and real ales. There are a few tables outside to sit in the car park, but it’s a very busy road so probably not the best place to take children. They serve snacks at lunchtime and on a Monday night they have a curry club from 5:30 to 8:00. They have a dartboard, a few machines and a telly for sport. We often stop off on our way home from work for a quiet pint and a read of the newspapers.
