Geocache Description:

On Wolds Way, route can be quite muddy in wet weather so be warned! (Helped us name the cache!) Not sure how accessible the cache will be once the undergrowth is grown again. Will check again in spring!

Village of Welton is our local village and is very picturesque with a church, village pond and of course a pub! The pub has recently been refurbished (Dec 2005) and does lovely meals. The bedrooms have also been refurbed.

The area is very popular with walkers being on the Wolds Way. We have lived in the area for 5.5 years and Welton was the first place we visited when looking for somewhere to live and we didn't need to go any further!
