the cache is located in the daugherty hill wildlife area--east of marysville road. take the collins lake turnoff, and after 500 feet turn right on spruce lane, then take an immediate right turn into a gravel parking area.
while walking thru the woods on a wet wintery day, i noticed many birds flitting around this woodland area. the white-crowned sparrow was one of the busy birds that i enjoyed watching.
be careful, as there is an abundance of poison oak in the area.
