A grove of pine trees in this park on the hill. Cool, shady and a thick layer of needles on the ground.
Friendship Park is where I like to hike for exercise and where many of my caches are located. Enter the park off of 9th street, just west of Western Ave. Enjoy the views and the nature center.
A short walk from the parking and picnic area, just off the paved trail, few go here. GPS reception may be difficult here because of the tree cover. You may want to take a bearing in a clear area and head towards the cache.
The container is small and the theme is keychains. Please close carefully. If necessesary, use the hints one at a time. Using all three drops the difficulty to a 1.
be aware of rattlesnakes. May be ticks, use repellant.
