How Geocaching Works

Please note Use of geocaching.com services is subject to the terms and conditions in our disclaimer.

Geocache Description:

This cache is the fifth of a series of eight caches--one extra bonus is available for completing all eight and answering a fauna question about each cache.

There is easy access to this cache with parking beside the location--however a cacher would be less noticeable if parking behind rather than beside of this location. The cache is a camo-covered ID container with a log inside.

Hint: When replacing this log, it works easier if you will reroll the log and insert into the top before inserting it into the bottom of the container. There is no need to over-tighten as the rubber seal could be compromised.

For an added bonus, write down the name of the plant or object which is nearest to the cache container (i.e. sandstone rock, holly, beech tree) and at the end of the series email all eight of your answers to the cache owner.
