Geocache Description:

This cache is the first in a series of wood themed caches Oneyedmonkey and I are placing. There is parking within 350’ of the cache, the walk there is easy except for the last few feet. The cache container is a SASO approved ammo box. I did not see any Poison Ivy at the time we placed it, but I would always be on the lookout!

This park can at times be very busy with outdoor community activities not to mention the disk golf course here, which you will be right in the middle of. Please try to be discreet while looking for and logging your cache find. This one should not be to hard to find, pretty straight forward, please place cache back as you found it. Please let me know if cache site needs any maintenance. This cache was placed with permission from the Lakewood Discovery Center. If you have time please visit the Discovery Center on the west side of park, there’s lots of stuff for the kids to see and do.

As always, Cache Safely!
