We're bringing folks
together from East & Northeast Texas for an evening of
food, fun, and caching camaraderie!
WHO: Anyone
interested in caching, whether you're brand new, experienced, shy,
gregarious, short tall...You get the picture.
WHAT: A casual
dinner with fellow cachers, followed by cache story telling, maybe
a game or two, and just general meetin' & greetin'! We'll also
discuss putting together a team for the upcoming Texas Challenge
& GeoWoodstock 4 events.
WHEN: Saturday
January 21, 2006. It'll be pretty informal, but the room will be
set-up and ready for us at 6:00 P.M. I suppose we can start
arriving then, and plan on ordering food at 7:00P.M. Feel free to
come any ol' time you please! Restaurant closes at
10:00.
WHERE: Catfish
Village, 440 Hwy. 79 South Henderson, TX 75652 (that's the above
coordinates) There will be specials to order for our party- more
info on that to come. I'll be providing dessert.
WHY: To give East
& North East Texas (and CAJUN) cachers a chance to meet each
other, and attach faces to the names they already know. Perhaps you
just want to learn more about caching. Maybe you want to prod a
cache owner about an irritating cache you've DNF'd! Our desire is
to start a regular group that can meet every couple of months, host
camp out events from time to time, and just promote the great
caching (and cachers!) we have in the area. Years from now, you'll
be proud to say you were at the first PCC get-together!
Please let us know here if
you think you might be able to make it, so I'll know how many
tables to have ready. We will have our own room just to ourselves.
Look forward to seeing everyone then!
COME BE
A PART OF THE PINEYWOODS CACHE
CONNECTION!
