Three well hidden (I hope) micros, and a final small cache all within the bounds of a large park.
The cache is not at the listed coordinates, but this is probably the best place to park.
Please note that the gates to this park close at the following times: 7pm -7am 1st apr – 19th oct 9pm – 6am 20th oct – 31st mar
Beware of the judder bars when driving down the access road, they are very difficult to see
Put aside a decent amount of time for this one, the distances aren’t great, about 1 km, but the micros’ will take a bit of finding.
GPSr use in the park can at times be frustrating, high ground to the north and at times a reasonable canopy makes it tough. All waypoints were taken with 5 – 7m accuracy over a number of days, and in some cases averaged.
All waypoints can be simply reached from established pathways or worn ground, no need to bush bash on this one.
Unless otherwise stated the numbers given, when converted back to decimal, will give a 5 digit number. This is the minutes and decimal minutes, in the format of S36 SSSSS E174 EEEEE. You should know by now where to put the decimal point.
Waypoint 1:
This is in base 2, or binary, convert back to decimal and you are on your way:
S 1101101100010000
E 1010101111010001
Update 16/1/05: clues have now been added, they are purposely not specific, but designed to narrow your search area given the sometimes poor reception in the park.
