Geocache Description:

J & J's second stash. Hidden in an historic mining area in between Mount Barker and Callington. Be VERY aware of the train line that the cache is near, as oncoming trains will be obscured by the cuttings.

We wanted to place a cache at St. Ives Chimney, on the south side of the freeway, but found it to be on private property. So we originally placed the cache at S35° 06.669' E138° 59.660', which overlooks the surrounding area. After a while, an electric fence was erected around GZ to allow cattle to graze the area. So the cache was moved atop an embankment overlooking the mainline railway that runs between Adelaide & Melbourne. Unfortunately earthworks removed that one so now the cache resides beneath a big shinny rock about 120m further along from there

The container is a 30cm long tube that may look like a big chocolate eclair, but that is not how the cache got it's name.

2WD vehicles should have no problem getting here, even in wet conditions, but the track can get a little rugged in places. It is possible to drive to within 60 metres of the new location but it will be a 150m walk to get to itby the safe approach from the west.
Cache contains log book, pen, pencil and the usuals swaps. Go get it.
