A nice walk to this picturesque location. You can start at the Horseshoe Bay car park and enjoy the nice walk around the coast or park closer.
This is the very first cache that I, ex-Mrs Unicycle, have done all the work for, believe it or not! It has only taken me a year since I hid it to finally place it on the web site. (It has only taken me 4 years to even look at the web site. Better late than never). It was going to be a multicache, but this was enough of a learning process for now. So you will have to read the historical signs, walk around the coast and visit the memorial gardens yourself when doing this cache. The weeds have now grown to disguise the cache well.
I have done this walk many times over the past 30 years as I have stayed down here for a month every year. This walk is a favourite of mine, especially on a rough day at sunset. Be wary of being spotted whilst retrieving the cache. It is an exposed location with high muggle traffic. We used our camera as a pretext for being there. Take in the refreshing sea air and have fun.
I can't remember what is in the cache, well it was a whole year ago. It will have to be a surprise. There is a log book, a pen and some swaps.
