Another park and grab way out on a sandy road.
I was totally lost out here.
Sandy roads are criss-crossing the desert. All the bushes and rocks look similar. I stopped here to switch my gpsr to trackback, so that I could just follow my path back to civilization. Then I remembered...I've never been here before... I was lost.
Why?... I asked... did I leave my friends and drive on ahead.
Why?... I asked... weren't they popping up over the ridgeline?....Had I gone the wrong way again?
While I waited for someone....anyone to arrive to help me find my way down the mountain... I hid this cache. It's a small one... just a decon container.
It's easy to find once you find your way out there.
Good luck finding your way back.
4x4 suggested due to sandy washes, and remember to bring water....it's a desert out here!
