Geocache Description:

Another in a series along the Tonbridge to Penshurst Cycle route

This cache can be found along the Tonbridge to Penshurst Cycle track, if you are going to cycle then a car park can be found at TQ 587 466.
If you are not cycling then a recommended car parking place can be found at N51 11.143 E000 12.788
This is one of 4 caches I have set a long this route
Please be aware however, if you are doing all 4 either on foot or cycle, check that the route is passable - On occasions after a period of heavy rainfall, water held back by the Tonbridge barrier backs up, flooding fields either side of the Medway - This will mean that the footpaths and cycle routes are probably impassable (see photos), all caches can still be sought by driving to the various access points but when the flooding is extensive and thus Endfield Road is closed this prevents access to #3 and #4. So please check first though this only happens about once a year


The cache is in a small lock & lock container, room enough for exchanges - there are the usual goodies, but not room for large TB's - please find this cache as found - thanks ddm

Please note you do not need any information from this one to get #4 now - it has been set as a stand alone multi (previously you would have had to find #s 1-3 to get #4)
