This cache is located at one end of the pedway in downtown Fredericton. This pedway was built to allow the citizens of Fredericton to have access to the green from the downtown parking areas without having to cross the four lanes of Ste Anne's Point Drive.
The cache is named for the memorial at the opposite end of the bridge. It's in memory of the Carleton York Regiment that fought in World War 2. I encourage geocachers to stop for a look. There is lots of parking here. Bring change for the meters if you come during business hours of the work week.
The cache container is large enough for pins, coins or other small trade items. It is in the open, but well camouflaged (note the spoiler photo below). It should be sheltered from the winter weather as well.
Original Contents: Logsheet & pencil, several pins, a European coin and 'The Multi Purpose Travel Bug'.
