Waldorf is about 30 miles from downtown Washington, D.C., and
many of the people who live here work in the city. Traffic to and
from DC is very bad and parking downtown is impossible, so many
people park in commuter lots and ride the bus to the metro, or even
all the way into downtown. These lots are called "Park and Ride"
lots.
