Coffee & Cache NB 200602 Event Cache

This cache has been archived.

rxzephyr: Snookie and I would like to thank everyone - especially those who had to travel a significant distance - for coming out to the event. I don't think anyone would argue that it was a success (except, perhaps, for the people who were looking for a quiet coffee first thing on a Saturday Morning) with a total of 25 people attending. I had a great time and am so happy to be able to put faces to usernames (and even gasp learn some real names). I'm really happy and proud to be a part of such a diverse and viberant community - both in Saint John and around the world.

I've been asked on a couple occasions if I will be doing it again, and the answer is "yes". There's been some talk about a BBQ Cache in the spring/summer, so everyone stay tuned on that one!

Again - thanks to everyone who attended and those who were with us in spirit.

Geocache Description:

Located at one of Saint John's micro-roaster's flagship coffee house. I'd like to invite cachers to get together for a morning cup of joe between 9:30am - 11:30am. We can swap stories from our days on the trail and trade tips and tricks.

FTF & sign the logbook will have a large coffee on me.

Since this is the weekend that caches placed during the MGA's Winter Caching Weekend Challenge will be activated, people might want to plan to buddy up for an afternoon of caching in the area. FYI, I believe that there is free Wireless Internet available. So, bring your laptop and plan your cache hunt on the spot.

2006/01/31 - Looks like it's going to be standing room only! I never expected this many people to come out! Hopefully there's not to many "regulars" who will be scared off by the hordes of maurading Geocachers!
