Geocache Description:

the cache is located in the daugherty hill wildlife area. park at the gate (N 39 20.346 W 121 20.295) and hike NW on the main trail, across a rivulet, then take the trail to the right on the western side of the creek. the walk to the cache is a little more than one-third mile.

there is considerable bird life in this area. the belted kingfisher is just one of many species that i have seen in this vicinity. this little fellow looked like he needed to comb his hair....
