This is a traditional cache off the main track in this area. The slope down to the cache is relatively easy but can become quite slippery even in the dry season, so care should be taken with children.
This is our first cache and used a traditional ammo box. This area has cycads and rock outcrops. The tree cover can affect GPS performance but using a compass bearing from the top can make it easier. The cache contains several books, feel free to take one, but we ask that you log them with Book crossing as per the note in each book. http://www.bookcrossing.com/ There are also several CDs with all the episodes of Icenrye's Geocaching Videozine. These files are viewable on a PC with windows operating system. More details of the podcasts on geocaching are available at http://www.icenrye.com/newsite/. These are a great free production and I encourage you all to have a look at the podcasts.
