You are invited to the first Greenville Meet & Greet on
February 25th!
The event will take place in the picnic area of River Park North
off of Mumford Road in Greenville. The coordinates above are to the
picnic area, itself. There is a covered shelter, plenty of tables
and a place to build a fire. Please bring food to share (and if it
is looking chilly and you have some fire wood, bring that along
too).
The event will start at 10:00A with the meet and greet, a
caching game and brunch.
There will ultimately be six total caches in the park, including
some new ones. Some are a short walk from the event site and others
a bit of a hike. (Tar River Hike is the furthest away and anyone
desiring to find it can meet up at the park at 8A.) We also plan to
hide new ones around town in honor of the event. Check the day
before the event for most of the new caches to come online!
Please RSVP using the log function. Also, please note what
food you plan to bring so everyone doesn't bring the same
thing. So far on the chow list: potato salad, macaroni salad,
brownies, donuts, muffins, bean special/taco salad, fruit or veggie
tray, fruit salad, sodas. Madana and I will bring paper plates.
We'll also bring charcoal for the grill and hotdogs.
You may want to add this listing to your watch list to keep
track of any updates. If you'd like to check the weather forecast,

here. The weather service is calling for partly cloudy with a
high of 60, so it looks like a great day for geocaching!!
