Geocache Description:

This is our first hide. When I saw this place I knew others would want to also. It’s a short walk (.12 mile) in, but not a walk in the park.

This is a traditional cache in an ammo box. Enjoy the wonder of this site! Take a picture and send it in if you have a camera (if not, we’ll drop off and pick up a disposable camera when there is no worry of a freeze). No need to deface this forgotten late 1800’s to early 1900’s marvel. We parked here (N 34 48.330 W 086 34.371) for the walk in. If you know the history of this find, please let us know. Watch out for snakes and poison vines during their season. If you see the red fox or white tails…please say hello. The tree cover may be a problem...I did 5 different averages and all numbers were very close. Happy caching!
