Dino's Footprint (South Canterbury) Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

status quo: As this cache has been out of action for too long and the cache owner has not responded or performed any maintenance, I'm archiving it to keep it from continually showing up in search lists, and to prevent it from blocking other cache placements. If you wish to repair/replace the cache sometime in the future, just contact us (by email), and assuming it meets the guidelines, we'll be happy to un-archive it.

Geocache Description:

A Natural Formation in the Rock wall - -looks like the cache name.

Another easy cache in Timaru's Centennial Park.

You can drive right up to this cache site.
The cache can actually be seen from the car, if you are looking at the right spot.

To actually get to the cache, though, you will need to either climb through, or over a fence.
The rock face in this area can show all sorts of figures, if you have the time to sit back and look for long enough.

This particular spot, however, should be obvious, if you get close enough to see it from the car.
Driving through the reserve, this cache is on the left side of the road, in the rock wall.

After going across the cattle stop, go straight ahead - the road veers right - a short straight before the road turns left. Cache is in the rock face halfway along this short straight.
If you walk, and keep looking at the rock face, you will see the "footprint".
