This is a straight-forward cache with one waypoint. The area is public, but not very inhabited. Great paths and only a very small amount of grassy-area to cover. Simple! The final location was moved slightly on April 1st 2006 (no joke!) because the original hide was earmarked for removal.
You can use the waypoint to park your car before setting off on foot (or this is very bike friendly too)for a pleasant & short stroll. Bring your pup along - it's a great area for doggy swimming and adjacent to off-leash areas (check the government maps if in doubt). **Important** - bring a photo of your dog to this cache to leave in the photo bag and we'll see if we can compile a good gallery of geocaching dogs! WHEN YOU ARRIVE AT THE WAYPOINT: Look at the number of the letterbox of the house behind the car park. This number is "HN" in the additional waypoint info below. Your new South Coordinates (MinDec): Subtract (0.HN0 + 0.014) from the original South Coordinates. Be aware that this alters the Min as well as the Dec. Your new East Coordinates (MinDec): Add (0.089 + 0.0HN) to the original East Coordinates. FTF: Andgps
