Hidden near Sparkes Lookout in Wilson's Promontory National Park

This cache is hidden near a spectacular lookout in one of nature's
great locations. This area was untouched by the fire which ravaged
the Prom in early 2005, and we want it to stay like that, so -
Lookout for Sparks! The cache is a weather proof metal ammo box of
about 6 litre capacity, containing a logbook, cachenote and the
usual goodies. The easiest option is to park at S 39°00.0504' E
146°18.0966' and take the track to Sparkes Lookout which is clearly
labelled from Darby Saddle. The track follows a fairly easy course
although there are several short steep sections which are not
really a problem for the majority of adults and children. I
recommend you take a picnic or at least a snack to enjoy at the
lookout. Hardier souls can continue to Tongue Point but that is a
much harder climb back. NOTE:- The cache was destroyed by the 2009
bushfires and was replaced in a new location.
