This cache is along the Missaukee Mountain cross-country ski trail. We have always enjoyed walking this trail in the snow free months and have been known to snowshoe it in the winter. It has always been a beautiful trail, unfortunately, there has been a lot of cutting back there so it is not as it was, but it is still nice. In the winter without skis or snowshoes the terrain rating may be a little higher depending of course on the amount of snow. It is a smaller cache in a camoed lock-top container. The trail begins from the parking lot and behind the ski lodge, it has markers along the trail so avoid the temptation to bushwhack.
