This cache is located near Whipple's landing on Lowther's lake. The hike is not that far but it may include crossing(Stepping over) a very small stream.
The cache is a small screwtop container painted green. It is very near a small creek that runs into Lowther's lake,this is one of the many spawning grounds of the Blueback or Atlantic Herring which come in all the way from the North Atlantic Ocean every spring, it is amazing to witness this creek overflowing with thousands of spawning Herring! Sometime around March-April! However you will be very lucky to see the Herring. The water level has to be just right at just the right time!
