Megastrobilus is a replacement for my archived Log it! cache at the Las Gallinas Valley Sanitary District. There is an excellent, level tail, on a raised dike, making for an easy hike for all ages (15 minutes from parking).
The container is film canister covered with custom camouflage was replaced 13Oct2006 with a plastic jar covered with camouflage tape. The camouflage originated very near the current cache site. You will need to bring a pen/pencil. Coordinates determined from 6 satellites.
Parking is available at N38 01.539 W122 31.073. Toilets and picnic tables are available near parking. Dogs must be on leash. The ponds here are very popular with bird watchers.
Please return the cache to EXACTLY the same place. Pretty please?
