Geocache Description:

It can be hard to get a signal here due to the tree cover and hills. Use the hint. I'm not trying to fool anyone with this one. It should be an easy, family friendly find.

You will enjoy an approximately 3/4 mile (total out 'n back) walk through Fish Lake Regional Park assuming you choose your trail wisely (Hint: read the trail signs in the park and the cache name on this page). You can extend the walk by continuing around the remainder of the loop after nabbing the cache.

The main trail is level and groomed for walking in the winter. You will have to take a non-maintained side trail the last 200 feet or so, but snowshoers keep this fairly accessible in the winter. This one is all about a nice walk in a great park. You are seeking a 1.5qt camo-painted Lock n Lock filled with the usual fun stuff for kids of all ages.

Bicycles are not allowed on the cache trail but this is a great spot to begin a bike-n-cache run up the Regional Trail to Rice Lake or even Elm Creek Park.

Three Rivers Parks no longer require fees or permits for entry. Fish Lake park is open from 6am until sunset (gated).
