Geocache Description:

The coordinates above are for the first monument below. This is a puzzle cache that takes you to four monuments on Keene’s Main Street.

There you will gather information and solve these problems to find the ultimate cache location. The total distance from the beginning to the end of the cache is about two miles and can be done by only walking 90ft from your car. At the actual cache location I encourage you to walk around awhile and see the great landmark that brought a great industrial boom to Keene.

Monument One: Blake House .N42 55.721 W72 16.674 At this location take from the stone monument the four, four digit years and add them together, from that total subtract 2906 which will give you a four digit answer that you will place in the A A A A positions left to right in the actual location puzzle below.

Monument Two: Old Fort N42 55.575 W72 16.626 At this stone monument take the greater of the two, four digit years and subtract the lesser then add 617 to that total giving you a three digit number which you will place in the B B B positions left to right in the actual location puzzle below.

Monument Three: Old Road N42 55.416 W72 16.589 At this stone monument take the greater of the two, four digit years and subtract the lesser then giving you a three digit number, then add 20 to that number giving you the three digit answer you will place in the D D D positions left to right in the actual location puzzle below.

Monument Four: Meeting House N42 55.340 W72 16.592 At this stone monument take the two, four digit years seen and add them together, from that answer subtract 1244 and then multiple that answer by 3 giving you a four digit answer you will place in the C C C C positions left to right in the actual location puzzle below.
