Pooh Corner Traditional Cache
Chewinprickles: Since I have little chance of getting down to check on this one and indications are that the area is perhaps a little difficult to access I'll give it the flick. In this case I'm pretty sure the cache is still in place so it's there, for anyone who wishes, to grab and keep so to speak.

A quick easy cache in an interesting location. May provide a different view on familiar places. The cache is 1.5L and contains the usual trinkets.
There are two ways in to this location; three if you have a boat or like to swim. The first two options both have gates that might be closed at times. There are signs stating when the gates are open, one of which says they are closed all weekends and public holidays but open all other days from 5.00am to 5.30pm. The other gate sign says it’s open all days, I forgot the times, but basically during daylight hours. I went in through the former gate at about 3.00pm on a Sunday so contradictions abound.
You will pass various point of interest (depending on your route) including a former township, (very little left to see), a gas powered power station and various pieces of plant used to dispose of caches sent from all over Melbourne to this cache disposal centre. You will also pass over a bridge where, (if you stop), you can see a version of Pooh sticks. Perhaps a more literal version than that envisaged by Christopher Robin.
Enjoy
