A straightforward cache on Cannock Chase. Well, it should be in theory, but it won’t be in summer!
Park near the trig point at N52 44.019 W001 56.689 (not recommended at the moment, as travellers have moved in), or lower down the hill near the cemetery at N52 44.403 W001 56.665.
It is much easier to follow the paths than to try to forge a way through the brambles, gorse and bracken. The paths can be muddy though.
The cache container is a plastic lock-lid box containing the usual goodies, plus logbook, pen, pencil and sharpener. It is wrapped in a moss green plastic bag for disguise, and is hidden in the roots of a tree.
