Geocache Description:

New and improved version This is a short stroll in Warmley around a significant historical sight. The walk is easy, although it may get a bit muddy in places and could be unsuitable for pushchairs.

This is a multi-stage cache which will take you to the ancient grotto site in the grounds of Warmley House, home of William Champion (1709-89) a local industrialist and innovator. The above coordinates will take you to a car park provided for this site.To access the car park, enter through the gateway to Warmley House and look out on the right for the small turning down the slope to the car park. Access to the gardens is through the gateway at the far end. Virtual Cache 1 is at N51 27.253 W002 28.639 Unfortunately, the notice board has now gone missing so the answer to give A and B is 13 Virtual Cache 2 is at N51 27.259 W002 28.642 Look for the old millstone, how many bolts hold the central plate...answer gives you C Virtual Cache 3 is at N51 27.234 W002 28.658 Count the number of round upright bars in the gate...answer gives you D If you look back over your shoulder you should glimpse Neptune in the trees!! The cache can now be located at .... N51 27.(A+1)(C-B)(B-A) W002 28.(C+2)(A+C+D)(C-D) The hiding spot may at times get overgrown Please replace the cache exactly where found, hopefully this should be a safer site, and be aware that the area is frequented by muggles especially at school turning out time! Please replace it carefully...probably a good shoe tying exercise should disguise your actions. This is the third attempt to hide a cache at this site. Another loss will force a micro container which would be a pity.
