Hello Again Cachers!! This
is a puzzle cache for everyone to enjoy. This cache is modeled
after what some people refer to as a monkey puzzle. This type of
puzzle came about by the relatively simple method used to trap
monkeys in some parts of the world. A small rounded pot, which is
anchored to a nearby tree, is put out with an apple inside just
smaller than the opening. When a tempted monkey reaches in and
tries to remove the apple it finds its fist wedged in the opening.
If the monkey simply dropped the apple it could easily withdraw its
hand and escape. However, most monkeys are too greedy to do so and
thus stay trapped. Our large brains are what separate us from the
other primates, but sometimes this same mindset seems to apply to
us. Especially us Geocachers!!
When you arrive at the cache
location you will be at a small community park near some playground
equipment. When you find the hidden puzzle container, you may want
to retreat to the road in order to solve the puzzle. When the key
comes out you don't want to lose it in the leaves. You may be here
for a while, so try to relax and enjoy yourself. Although the
correct sequence can be done in several minutes, it may take a bit
longer to put the steps in the right order. The puzzle/cache
container holds a key, which you will have to work out of its
hiding place to open the container and get the coordinates to the
final cache location. These coordinates are written on the inside
of the puzzle container. Please do not leave any trade items in the
puzzle as they may interfere with the inter workings of the
puzzle.
PLEASE NOTE: NO FORCE
IS NECESSARY TO SOLVE THE PUZZLE AND NO TOOLS ARE REQUIRED. PLEASE
BE GENTLE AND DO NOT BREAK THE PUZZLE.
