EVERYONE is welcome to attend and have a great time. Even if you
are from out of the state.
This event will be held at the Harrison City park. Come out and
see some old friends and meet some new ones! The event will start
at 2 PM. Come and check in, meet some fellow cachers, trade coins
and travel bugs. Play some games. Visit some area caches. Some are
right in this park.
There will be a Horse Shoe Pitching Contest, Basket Ball
Throwing Game, and A Bocce Ball Game. Prizes will be some
unactivated coins that I am saving for the event. There are some
great caches in the area. Some are in the deep woods, some are
easy. If you haven't done some "deep woods" caches you could team
up with other cachers before going out, so you ..."make it back
for dinner!".
Early dinner time will be at 4:20 PM Please bring a dish to
pass. I plan on serving subs, hot dogs, mild sausages as a main
course. No alcohol in the park. Please bring your own refreshments.
We will be providing the fixins’ for sandwiches. Please bring a
dish to pass along the guidelines below and also some lawn chairs
for your team.
Team names (numbers use the spelling- 3 is T)
A-I Vegetables, Fruits & Dips for such.
J-R Deserts, Cookies, Pies & goodies.
S-Z Chips, Salsas, Salads & Dips for such
**Please state number of people attending by May 29th so I can
get a rough estimate of the amount of food to bring for the main
course. Thanks.
Bring Coins and Travel Bugs to trade at the event!
Also, there are tennis courts and kids play sets and playground
equipment in the area. Be sure and bring the whole family.
Camping is available at the Harrison State Park, which is very
close to this location.
If you have extra horse shoe sets, post it and bring them. Thanks!
For the Boccie Ball game, if you throw your ball closest out of
the eight balls thrown in your session , you get a free unactivated
coin. It is a nice easy game.
