Located in a local riverfront park. Note the new coordinates!
This cache is a medium sized rubbermaid container hidden in a local park. It is the second cache for Traveler, the first for G.O. Papa, Mr. Skipperdoo and Mr. Slappy. Initial contents included a log book and various small toys, but the cache was expanded to allow for more travel bugs and other trade items. Travel bugs placed here will find their way to the Detroit area each weekend (provided that is their desired direction of travel.) An entry fee is not required to access the park. During the winter months, the gate will be closed, so just park at the top of the hill and go for a stroll. When the weather warms up (around July, in Michigan!) you can bring a picnic basket and enjoy a nice lunch on the river's edge. Look across the river, you can see another park where two more caches are hidden. Happy caching! NOTE: SOME CACHERS HAVE REPORTED POISON IVY IN THE AREA AROUND THE CACHE, SO PLEASE WATCH YOUR STEP!
