A fairly simple cache near a lookout overlooking the town of Lithgow
No visit to Lithgow would be complete without a trip to Hassans Walls lookout, but just a short drive from there is another lookout overlooking the town of Lithgow.
You can park at Braceys lookout and walk back to the cache. The area is Geokid friendly, but you may find a number of muggles walking pets along the road, but the cache should be far enough away from the road to avoid suspicion.
The cache is located in an outcrop of rock just off the road less than 100 meters south of the Braceys lookout. Each time my son and I walk past he says the outcrop looks like the front of the starship Voyager (From Startrek Voyager), hence the name.
The cache is a small plastic box with the usual contents & logbook. It is located about 20 meters from the original location, but is extremely easy to get to, even for 9yo Burkle. Please ensure you cover it well to avoid muggles seeing it (there are plenty of rocks available for that purpose).
